I am delighted to announce that I am now the Food Events Curator for the Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival. Inaugurated in 2017, the festival takes place every October and has grown in strength. Last year I was honoured to interview food writers Olia Hercules and Felicity Spector and witness the audience's emotional response to their stories of Ukrainian resilience. I've always thought Bury St Edmunds needed more cultural events related to food to match its excellent reputation for hospitality, so it's doubly wonderful that the Literature Festival is now the home for these. I'm incredibly excited about our plans.
